Nuovo Anno a Venezia
I have finally arrived in Venice… Some people want to buy their first car, their first house or whatever… me I just wanted to be somewhere. Now I’m realizing the dream I decided to pursue about 5 years ago. I’m finally here. Working odd jobs after getting out of college, the idea of travelling to Florence and Venice seemed close to impossible. The math back then just doesn’t add up. I’m still pinching myself.
Regret is a slow burning mistress and Im happy I only had a few of them last year. I like to think I’m a little bit different from my friends and family. Not special, just different. I am curious, adventurous, foolish and a risk-taker. I always wanted to do something different and unconventional and sometimes my family finds that confronting. I never really wanted to settle down, to save up for a house and car, me.. I just wanted to see what is out there. Having seen the picutres and read the books, I wanted to see it for myself. Now nobody is going to take that away from me. I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
2015 will be different as I will now focus on my career. Travelling can wait, as it is time for me to set new goals and work my ass off to make them come true again. I’m a little weary of travelling anyway, time for me to spend my spare time to just play video games. :)
Life is good.
